The Boston Celtics escaped with a 133-128 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals. Jaylen Brown was the star of the show, dropping 40 points to lead the Celtics to a come-from-behind victory. The Celtics then followed that up with a dominant 126-110 victory in Game 2, with Brown once again leading the way with 40 points. The Celtics now hold a commanding 2-0 lead in the series and will look to close it out on the road in Game 3.

In Game 1, the Celtics trailed by as many as 15 points in the fourth quarter but rallied to tie the game and force overtime. Brown scored 10 points in the extra period to help the Celtics secure the win. In Game 2, the Celtics controlled the game from the start, leading by as many as 20 points in the second half. Brown was unstoppable, hitting 15-of-25 from the field and 6-of-10 from three-point range.

Jayson Tatum also had a strong performance in Game 2, scoring 26 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Marcus Smart added 19 points and 6 assists. The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton's 26 points and 8 rebounds, but they were unable to keep pace with the Celtics' high-powered offense.

The Celtics will now travel to Indianapolis for Game 3 of the series on Thursday night. The Pacers will be looking to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole, while the Celtics will be looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead.
